Hey you want to be a next leader to lead Nepal ??

Hi all,
You must be trying to excel at what you are doing !! Am I right? You may say, " Well, some kind of ........". I say, you are trying hard knowingly or unknowingly. There are many things you want to accomplish. However, it is bitter reality that you cannot achieve everything what you desire (though in BUDDHA DHARMA, it is said, the root of every problem is desire !! So to correct it - i would term it - your aspiration. Now it sounds better. In order to fulfill some of your prioritized no. 1 aspiration, it is simple fact that you need to PRIORITIZE, other wise it is mess because you will not be knowing where you are going, unless you are a lucky guy !! Instead, we know that every successfully happy persons are those whose life moves forward in a systematic way, with system thinking. Among all skills that we need to hone, i suggest, public speaking is one skill we need to master and there are few basic rules that i just came across in a LINKEDIN article by Andrew Ng, co -founder of COURSERA, a world famous MOOC course. I would line to share some bullet points that are useful to us. It says as, ... a 30 minute deliberate practice exercise for improving your presentations:

  1. Select a ~60 second portion of a presentation that you made recently, or that you plan to make.
  2. Record yourself making that 60 second presentation. Use a webcam, camcorder, or your cellphone video camera to capture video and audio.
  3. Watch your presentation. If you haven’t seen yourself on video much, you’ll be appalled at how you look or sound. This is a good sign; it means that your speaking ability is about to improve dramatically.
  4. Decide what you’d like to adjust about your presentation. Then go back to Step 2, try again, making any changes you think will improve your speaking.
  5. Repeat the cycle of recording, watching, and adjusting 8 - 10 times.
